How Shipping & Delivery Work
At Mini Moo Highlands, we understand that shipping a calf may sound unusual at first. However, with our years of experience, we can confidently assure you that it is a safe and stress-free process. Airlines and transport partners we work with follow strict USDA guidelines and pet-safe programs designed specifically for livestock.
Safe & Comfortable Travel
Calves are flown in climate-controlled, pet-approved cabins on USDA-certified airlines.
They receive the same air circulation as the pilots and crew, ensuring a safe, healthy environment.
Professional animal nannies accompany calves on board, providing continuous care throughout the journey.
Flights are typically 6-8 hours, and we always book the most direct routes possible.
Why Flying is Safer Than Driving
Many owners are surprised to learn that flying is often more comfortable and less stressful for calves than long-distance ground transport. A short, direct flight allows them to arrive the same day, usually within a few hours of departure, safe and ready for their new home.
Our Process
We make all shipping arrangements for you.
Before departure, calves are prepared and gently acclimated to their travel crates.
You receive the flight number, arrival time, and reference number for pickup.
Upon arrival, simply present your ID and airbill number, and your calf will be waiting for you.
Where We Ship
We provide delivery across the USA, Canada, and internationally. Each shipment is carefully planned around weather conditions and airline safety standards – we only ship when we are fully confident it is safe for the calf.
