Health Guarantee

At Mini Moo Highlands, the health and well-being of our Mini Highland calves are our top priority. Each calf is carefully examined by a licensed veterinarian before shipping and comes with a comprehensive health guarantee for your peace of mind.

Initial Veterinary Check

  • Within 10 days of receiving your calf, you must have the calf examined by a licensed veterinarian.

  • If the veterinarian determines that the calf was ill from a condition contracted before delivery, please contact us immediately.

Our calves are guaranteed to be healthy, infection-free, and properly vaccinated at the time of shipping.

One-Year Health Guarantee

While many factors, such as genetics, nutrition, and daily care, can influence a calf’s health, we proudly guarantee:

  • In the unlikely event of death within one year of purchase due to genetic or congenital disorders, we will replace your calf with another of equal value at no cost to you.

  • Any such diagnosis or cause of death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian, with a copy of the report emailed to us.

Owner Responsibilities

To ensure this guarantee remains valid, you must:

  • Provide a copy of the veterinary examination (medical record) within 10 days of receiving your calf.

  • Maintain regular veterinary care, proper nutrition, and safe living conditions.

  • Refrain from additional vaccinations within the first 10 days after arrival, as your calf will already be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Failure to provide appropriate veterinary care will void this guarantee.

Exceptions to the Guarantee

This health guarantee does not cover:

  • Neglect, poor nutrition, or lack of veterinary care.

  • Non-health-related traits such as color, markings, size, or breeding ability.

Veterinary Health Report

Before leaving our farm, every calf undergoes a thorough veterinary checkup. This includes examinations of:

  • Cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems

  • Skin, eyes, ears, teeth, gums, and coat

  • Urogenital and gastrointestinal health

A certified Veterinary Health Report is completed and reviewed before shipping. If any serious concerns are noted, the calf will not be shipped.
